Avondale / Riverside
Riverside and Avondale, located off I-95 just west of Downtown, are two of Jacksonville’s most beautiful and historic neighborhoods. The once quiet plantation area became a bustling residential and commerce center around the 1920’s. Since then, the community has worked hard to preserve its history and architecture.
